Artwork Description

I created this painting as a symbol of letting go of things that are no longer needed in my life. Speaking to someone, I also discussed taking deep breaths and imagining that they are hot air balloons inflated, letting go of the tension that might build if I forget to breathe deeply.
A girl's hair blows with the wind, showing how things can just flow through her life and blow away that are no longer necessary. She finds peace and serenity in that state, as well as clarity and focus. In that state, she is meditating and taking time for herself.
This painting is purely imaginative with texture play and lots of intricate fine lines.
In capturing this peaceful mood, I hope you can feel it as well, as you look at the painting.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
