Artwork Description

Brisk summer breeze. Featuring Italian-inspired green shutters with flower pots, windows, and signs, as well as buildings with a vibrant color palette.

This painting is a wonderful example of Italy's alleyways, with their wonderful character and details in architecture and windows that decorate those buildings, an image that takes you away on a nice summer holiday. It makes you imagine and dream of strolling by green shutters, taking in the smell of the surrounding and flower pots, and enjoying the vibrancy of the entire scene. Throughout this piece there is an abundance of warmth and bliss, it is like lying on a quiet summer afternoon relaxing.
This piece is a stretched gloss canvas measuring 110x110 cm.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
