Artwork Description

There are times when the best therapy is to escape to a serene place, surrounded by green trees and a picnic. The VW camper is cozy and romantic to sleep in. I daydreamed while painting this piece...

With this van, love travels to a world filled with mystery. The summer breeze is filled with the scent of fresh grass and trees. The summer sun on my pale face promises to tan me nonetheless.

A cool, clear stream trickles by, a blanket resting along its banks. Straw hats and sunglasses are the order of the day, as I sit with my sun-dressed lover.

Picnic on the beach with every kind of treat to warm my heart. Tasty delights with an ice-cold drink to kickstart our reminiscence.

We visited many places on the way in our van on the first day of summer.

The romance was perfect on the road in a different place each night to love in a life newly merged. On the flanks of our trusty steed, bright flowers painted by hand. They bloom in the best times of our lives as we travel from one place to another, living and loving on the way.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
