Original Artwork's Description

During the day, the sun casts a beautiful ray of light on the weathered boards of old fishing docks. Main Beach is known for its Fisherman's Wharf, which is where locals can come early in the morning in order to get their fresh seafood. There is a dreamlike quality to the water around the boats, and there are seagulls hovering around them. I was inspired by this scene and, looking at the bright and captivating colors, I smiled easily. Here is me catching a memory, for the waters will always surround me, laughing, creating the poetry of the tides, carrying them to campfires in the moonlight. Hope fisherman catch a big one!

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
