Original Artwork's Description

Pelicans are amazing and staying so close to people and coming to feed makes them feel like they are part of the family.
The painting is done on stretched canvas and is textured.
Dimensions are 90x60cm.

Here on the Gold Coast, the park near Broadwater is very popular and I enjoy being near the lagoon, cycling along the path, or getting fresh seafood.
It's no surprise so many birds are gathered in the park too.
Scenery is peaceful and captures an easygoing day at the park where people can relax and have a good time, being mesmerised by the soft waves and ripples in the water , birds flying around, splashing and looking for food.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
