Artwork Description

Imaginative painting of Gigi the Gypsy Piggy.
Meet Gigi, a unique and captivating piggy with a red headscarf and colorful robe. Her dreamy and distant gaze makes her appear lost in thought, as if she is in the world of her own.
Although Gigi is a figment of my imagination, I have brought her to life on canvas. My hope is that her whimsical appearance and playful spirit inspires someone.
Gigi the Gypsy Piggy is not just a painting, but a character that has come to life in the process of creating . The use of bright colors and intricate patterns in her clothing suggest a rich cultural heritage. One can imagine Gigi traveling from place to place, sharing stories of her adventures and experiences with those she meets on her journey. Perhaps her distant gaze is a reflection of the deep wisdom she has gained from her travels.
This painting is a reminder to embrace our own uniqueness and to let our imaginations run wild. Gigi's playful spirit encourages us to explore new places and to seek out new experiences. Her red headscarf and colorful robe symbolize the beauty and diversity of the world around us.

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.

For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
