Artwork Description

Goddess of Nature

The vibrancy and movement of this surreal painting do a lot to show the intertwined relationship between human and nature, and their interdependent relationship.
The waves and currents of the ocean, as well as their magnificent creatures, have the ability to stop at the edges of the shore. This is so that trees can grow and houses can be built.
In this person's face, there is a very dreamy expression that makes it seem as though she might be imagining faraway lands or stars in the sky. She might be feeling the breeze gently caressing her face as the clouds pass by, and feeling the wind at the edge of her hair.
I have added lots of fun details to make this art a little more interesting and quirky, like a staircase along a tree trunk leading to a house with a pipe and telescope, a hanging tire for swinging and so many more things that you can spot for yourself.
With the blossoms all around, life is in full swing, and the growth continues in other parts of the world.
This is a large textured painting, highly detailed and done in acrylic and gloss, signed at the front. Measuring 115x145 cm, currently not framed, done on high quality canvas.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
