Hummingbird rider

This fantasy piece of artwork was designed to show the vibrant colors and vivid behavior of a hummingbird. It was also created to highlight the speed and fierceness of this bird at times. Have a look at the adorable bluehaired rider on the back of this bird who is enjoying the midnight flight and having a beautiful bonding experience with this amazing bird.
The burst of color is almost like the two of them bringing the light into a dark cave. There is a blossom on the branch of the tree that they are carrying behind them. They intend to plant it in a special place and let it grow into a wonderful magical tree. There will be a lovely harmony among the birds when these trees are planted and they can fly to them and nest there.
The painting is acrylic on canvas paper 30 x 42cm, framed , signed on the front.

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
