Artwork Description

This vibrant 150 x 101 cm jungle landscape invites viewers into a world where nature feels both mystical and alive.
Lagoon of luminous green centres around a serene, turquoise lagoon cradled by cascading foliage, hanging vines, and lush pockets of tropical growth.

Soft mist drifts through the scene, dissolving into layers of emerald, teal, and hints of violet, creating a dreamy sense of depth.
The trees arch overhead like guardians, their branches dripping with life, while bursts of colour, yellow, lavender, and aqua—glimmer like hidden treasures within the greenery.
This painting grew from my love of nature and the way forests feel like living, breathing sanctuaries.

I wanted to capture the magic of untouched places—the kind you stumble upon during travel or imagination, where water meets wildness and everything feels enchanted.

The piece celebrates serenity, mystery, and the vibrant pulse of the natural world.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
