Artwork Description

Acrylic, gold and silver flakes on stretched canvas
Signed and ready to hang

A gentle force radiates from the center of Light keeper ,this girl with short, dark burgundy hair holds her open palms at front of her heart offering a luminous beam of pure light.
From this sacred source, delicate white vines unfurl in flowing, curvy motion, reaching across the canvas like whispered intentions.

Soft tiny clouds and specks swirl around her hair, like thoughts, dreams, and fragments of transformation.
On the left, the symbolic presence of lotus emerges as a quiet nod to spiritual awakening and rebirth.

Beneath her folded hands, fine lines lean in toward the light, as if drawn by its magnetic clarity.

The background is in dreamy washes of blue, purple, and green, shifting gently like memory and emotion.
Scattered golden and silver flakes shimmer at the edges and in pockets of the painting, adding a glow, like something ancient being reignited.

The painting is inspired by the journey inward to reclaim own spark after grief, burnout, transitions and time.

It captures the pause when we no longer search outward for meaning but recognise the quiet power that has always lived inside us.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
