Artwork Description

The artwork shows a surreal scene of a hummingbird wearing a bright tuxedo, standing upright like a little gentleman, and gazing into the distance. The vibrant colors and unusual composition create an otherworldly feel that captures the imagination.

Once upon a time, in a magical forest, there lived a tiny hummingbird named Little Gentleman. He was known for his impeccable manners and always wore a bow tie.
One day, Little Gentleman was flying around when he saw a group of animals gathered in a circle. Curious, he flew closer and saw that they were having a talent show. Without hesitation, Little Gentleman decided to participate.
He took a deep breath and began to sing a beautiful melody. The audience was mesmerized by his voice, which was as sweet as honey. The other animals cheered and applauded when he finished.
Feeling proud, Little Gentleman decided to explore more of the forest. As he was flying, he noticed a flower that was drooping. He realized that it was thirsty and needed water. Without hesitation, Little Gentleman flew to a nearby stream and collected water in his beak. He then flew back to the flower and carefully dropped the water on its petals. The flower perked up, and Little Gentleman felt a sense of satisfaction and joy.
From that day on, Little Gentleman became known as the kindest and most talented hummingbird in the forest. He continued to spread joy and kindness wherever he went, and all the animals loved him.
And so, Little Gentleman's legend lived on in the forest, inspiring generations of animals to be kind, compassionate, and talented, just like him.

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
