Original Artwork's Description

Luna, the trendy fox

Mixed medium(gesso, acrylic, gloss) on stretched canvas, measuring 120x90 cm, signed at the front, ready to hang.
Foxes are known for their beauty and grace. From their sleek fur to their playful demeanor, foxes are a captivating animal and make a stunning subject for a painting. I love experimenting by adding trendy elements for that fashionable look. I wanted to create eye catching art by expressing my own style and creativity as well.
As I was creating this painting of Luna ,the trendy fox, in the cosy coffee shop, I imagined her to be very dreamy, having the moment to relax. I wanted to capture the essence of nature and dreamy quality of life.
She has perky ears and furry neck that add to the sense of playfulness. The orange colour of Luna bring warmth and coziness, which is perfect for any setting. The purple dress and orange coat, along with turqouise gloves and grey scarf, are a reflection of the fox’s trendy personality.
There are round glowing lamps in the background and turquoise frame around the shop, which add extra surreal quality to the painting.
I think this painting would make a perfect addition to any coffee shop or a dining room area, with its welcoming and warm feel. I hope it would remind someone to take a moment to relax and dream.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
