Artwork Description

Misty falls of Greenhaven

Standing tall at 1x1m, this tropical textured escape brings together the vibrant colours of acrylics, layers of gesso, and a glossy finish .

Two green hills stand in the foreground, one daringly posing as a cliff.
A majestic white waterfall cascades from the mountain top, powering through the landscape with a few cheeky smaller falls joining , tangled up in hanging vines.
If you look closely, the white fog adds an air of mystery, as if the jungle itself is keeping a few secrets.
With touches of blue and purple peeking through the greenery, this painting is your invitation to get lost in nature's drama—without leaving the couch.
Perfect for daydreamers, waterfall enthusiasts, and anyone who needs a splash of adventure on their walls.

The inspiration came from the inspiring balance between nature's power and its peacefulness .
I wanted to capture that moment when you stumble upon a hidden waterfall in the jungle—where the rush of water contrasts with the quiet whispers of vines swaying in the breeze.
The lush green hills and tumbling waterfalls bring a sense of discovery, while the misty fog hints at the unseen magic of nature.

It's a scene that invites you to pause, take a breath, and lose yourself in the beauty of the wild—where every glance reveals something new and enchanting.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
