Artwork Description

In Nocturnal Treehouse Tales, the night hums with hidden stories and soft golden light.
A towering tree becomes a world of its own — with twisting branches, ladders, and glowing doorway leading into realms of wonder.

Curious possums open a jar of golden specks, an owl keeps surprising watch, and a winged cat pauses to share a quiet moment with a snail perched on a strawberry.

Each line and curve intertwines to form a web of connection, inviting to slow down and listen to the whispers of the nocturnal world.

Among all the motion and sparkle of the night, there’s a quiet stillness between the cat and the snail — a moment suspended in time.

This painting was inspired by the idea of slowing down to see — to appreciate the beauty of pause, reflection, and simple connection amidst the glow of a vibrant, living world.

Accents of golden leaf bring a shimmering warmth, echoing the gentle magic of moonlight.

Acrylic and golden leaf on canvas, 86 x 115 cm, signed, glossed, and ready to hang.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
