Pots of Joy (102x51 cm) is a vibrant celebration of life’s simple pleasures, captured through an eclectic arrangement of succulents and cacti.

Each plant brims with its own personality, lush greens, blushing reds, and delicate blooms, all nestled in rustic, textured pots with playful splashes of colour and gold.
A watering can and scattered pebbles add a touch of everyday charm, grounding the lively scene.

The painterly brushwork and layered textures give the composition an uplifting, almost tactile energy, making the plants feel alive and brimming with joy.

This painting was inspired by the quiet happiness found in caring for plants and watching them flourish.

Succulents, with their resilience and variety, embody patience, strength, and the beauty of diversity.

The artwork captures the cozy spirit of a garden corner, where humble pots, simple tools, and thriving greenery remind us that joy often blossoms in the little things we nurture every day.

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
