“Shaded lane “ was inspired by one of my road trips to the Sunshine Coast.
While wandering a charming street, I found myself people watching, soaking in the mix of voices, footsteps, and laughter, with sunlight dancing through the trees swaying in the ocean breeze.
I snapped a photo, as I often do, and later let my imagination add a few extra details and elements to the alleyway scene.
This painting became a slow burn project, one I revisited over time, adding, adjusting, and fine-tuning until it felt just right.
The textures and details are abundant, each one adding to the relaxed, sunlit atmosphere.
My hope is that you can feel that same gentle movement and easy flow that first caught my eye.
