Artwork Description

This vibrant 100x100 cm textured painting captures the playful spirit of a whimsical treehouse world. Bursting with life, the artwork invites you into a dreamy realm where people lounge in hammocks, climb branches, and gather on leafy verandas high above the ground.
The turquoise houses with bright yellow shutters glow against the lush greenery, while tree branches weave through the scene, binding home and nature into one living structure.
Subtle textures and layered brushstrokes add depth, creating a sense of movement as though the leaves and figures are swaying gently in the breeze.

Signed and ready to hang, this piece offers joy, wonder, and a touch of nostalgia.

Inspiration:

Stories in the Trees was inspired by the timeless magic of treehouses and the way they stir our imagination.
It celebrates the harmony between people, play, and nature, moments of laughter, daydreaming, and simple living among the branches.
Each figure in the painting seems to carry a story of their own, reminding us that adventure doesn’t always mean faraway places, it can be found right outside, hidden in the leaves.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
