Artwork Description

The Grinning Guardian of the Glowing Forest

Amidst the brown grass of the forest, a fox with an orange coat stood with a mischievous grin on its face.
It watched as crows flew around it, seemingly amused by their behaviour . The forest was illuminated by a soft, cool glow, casting shadows on the large rocks and the massive tree trunk nearby.
The fox seemed to be the guardian of this magical place, with its cheerful expression and playful demeanor.
It’s a scene that captured my imagination and stirred the soul, and it’s no wonder that I’ve created this painting.
Acrylics, gesso textures and gloss on stretched canvas, 31x41cm , signed at the front.

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
