Original Artwork's Description

The wise and intuitive owl

This clever bird is still and in a deep thinking state with no movement, demonstrating how perfectly still it is with the hot chocolate standing on top of its head. This is a sign of stability.
On the other hand, it has that look of concentration on its face as if to say, I'm keeping watch and a good guardian. Candles burn to bring a soft glow to the room, but they also symbolize the light shining in the darkness, especially individual life, illumination; it represents the spirit of truth. They are interconnected.
There are rolls by the owl that contain words of wisdom and intuition. This is owl symbolism and meanings include wisdom, intuition, supernatural power, independent thinking, and observant listening.

I have painted owls in a few of my paintings as I believe they are wonderful guardians as well as being inspirational.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
