Artwork Description

Underwater Wonderland is an acrylic and gloss painting on stretched canvas, measuring 90x40cm, signed on the front and ready to hang.
This piece celebrates the magic and exuberance of the ocean — a place that has always inspired me with its sense of mystery, calm, and boundless life.

My inspiration came from moments spent near the sea, watching waves shift in colour and imagining the busy world alive beneath the surface.
I wanted to capture that dreamy, childlike wonder that comes with imagining what swims just beyond view.

The scene unfolds in a lively cove framed by bright corals rising on each side.
A mother and baby whale glide gracefully in the distance, while a school of tuna flashes by in quick formation.
Two playful dolphins twist through the water, surrounded by tropical fish and a curious turtle in the foreground.
Each creature carries a subtle expression, as if sharing the joy of living in this underwater playground.

Alive with movement, colour, and gentle charm, Underwater Wonderland invites you to feel the vibrancy of the marine world and to cherish the beauty we are lucky to witness — and protect.

Artist Bio

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
