Artwork Description

Vibrant Depths

In my painting, Vibrant Depths, I wanted to capture the beauty and wonder of the underwater world. I imagined the crystal-clear waters, that could mesmerise with the variety of colors and textures. The tiny tropical fish, flat leafy looking corals, pink, orange and yellow sea grass, all sway gently in the current. The ripples above allow sunlight to dance and shimmer through the blue and turquoise water, creating a beautiful display of light and color.

This painting was done with gesso, lots of layers of acrylic and gloss on stretched canvas, ready to hang and is measuring 120x90cm.

Vibrant Depths is not just a painting but a celebration of the natural beauty that surrounds us, both above and below the surface.

From an early age, I was drawn to creative expression, discovering my passion for art as soon as I could hold a crayon.
I pursued this passion academically, earning a degree in Art Education in Ukraine, which laid the foundation for my artistic and teaching career.
After relocating to Australia in 2002, I continued to develop my practice and actively sought opportunities to exhibit my work.
I have since participated in various art prizes and exhibited in local galleries, while also sharing my knowledge through teaching, both in my home studio and within the school community attended by my children.
For me, art is more than a passion; it is a lifelong journey of exploration, growth, and connection. Through both my creative practice and teaching, I aim to inspire others to experience the joy and transformative power of art. My work has allowed me to engage with audiences locally on the Gold Coast and internationally, reinforcing my belief in creativity as a universal language that enriches lives.
