Artwork Description

Mixed Media on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

"Celestial Microcosms" is a new series of work that explores the intricate and unseen worlds that exist within and around us. The constellations depicted in these new paintings are not formed from stars but from the microscopic life that mirrors the vastness of space. Pictures found in the patterns that constellations form allow the navigation of the gap between the infinitely large and the infinitely small to express that interconnectedness of all things and the potential that new worlds may lie within the very fabric of life itself. 'In the Constellation of the Mad King" is the first of this series and is executed with pigments mixed with egg tempera and oil.
