Artwork Description

A little place off the Highland Road in Tasmania's North West, finds this beautiful and fragile place, with it's old twisting trees, surrounded by misty mountain air in the cooler months, and bright blue sky after a frosty morning. Many ancient trees and shrubs reside here. The Lake is situated at the end of a boarded track. I walk along here to sketch, take photos and just be amongst the beauty. This little gem inspires me. I will be working on a series of Pine Lake scenes in different mediums. This is the first of many to come.

This drawing is Framed with a lovely soft, textured timber frame, double matted in white.

NOTE: The Watermark is not on the original
