Thru different periods of my art I have grown and changed with experience and observation. I am now considered an abstract artist experimenting with color, shape and movement. Every painting is an adventure in spontaneity, detail, exploration and satisfaction. In the artistic process i will add color, shape and detail and subtract the same in order to achieve a composition that satisfies my own goals. I am challenged by this process and am driven to find the balance that produces a unique and original work.
My present work fulfills and thrills me more than at any other period in my life and I am proud to present my most recent work. My paintings develop by experimenting with shape, style and color until I am satisfied with the balance, excitement, and energy that the work shares with the viewer. I am influenced by my experience in design particularly with color and style. I am not afraid of new techniques and directions and am constantly expanding the scope of my work by honoring my own ideas and direction.
I have offered my art at my gallery shop ( -Jeffrey Davies inc.-) at 575 Sutter St. San Francisco, 1979 until I retired and now live and paint in Palm Springs, Ca. and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
