The focus of my art is the light that illuminates the subject. I paint both in Watercolour and Oils. I have practiced creative art making since I was very young and have created in most mediums. My interest is in interpreting the natural world in light and colour. Landscape, Still Life and Urban scenes are my usual subjects.
I hold qualifications in visual art and have further honed my skills at workshops with experienced artists.. I enjoy plein air painting which provides a great source of inspiration.

The Focus of my art is light and my impressions and connection to the subject.. I paint in Watercolour and Oils. Often I paint "en Plein Air" (in the open direct from nature or the urban landscape). I also paint in the studio from my own photos and Plein air studies made on site.

I have practiced creative art making for most of my life and have painted and drawn in most mediums. I have attended workshops and lessons with established artists and completed formal study in Visual Arts.

I am based in the Nepean District of Sydney at the base of the Blue Mountains and am a member of the Nepean Art Society, currently its President. I regularly exhibit with the Nepean and other Art Societies as well as in other group exhibitions and also solo in galleries, mostly in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains. My art is currently held in private collections in Australia, England and the United States.
