Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
The horizon changed the day the WA government back flipped on opening its borders. My dream of hiking through Tasmania’s southern forests slipped back behind COVID’s grey cloud, months of planning culminating in another dead end. I felt like a prisoner in my own country now, trapped in a state of limbo. So I clothed myself in native shades of green to escape. If I couldn’t go there in person, I would travel there in my mind.
