Artwork Description

Axedale's Anglican Church built in 1913, was nestled amongst the gum trees, creating a feeling of yesteryear. I loved the twisted gum trees and the beautiful church, with its own Bell Tower. I have painted the tower top red and added a magpie. It's a true representation of the living in the Australian Bush. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I do. Thank you for looking.

Artist Bio

My artwork is a story told through portraits, the powerful presence of trains, the serenity of landscapes and to the allure of seascapes. The Australian landscape, with its changeable beauty, has always held a special place in my heart. I like to explore a multitude of themes and subjects each with a unique tale to tell. However it's in the realm of wildlife art, particularly Australian birdlife, that I enjoy the most.

I paint mainly in oils and do many birds in watercolours. Thank you for reading my bio, I hope you enjoy my artwork.
