Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the back.

This artwork comes with an external frame

This original oil painting is part of my body of work that explores Jervis Bay, South Coast NSW. I have fallen deeply in love with this part of the world. This is also a development towards minimalism. Something that has also been occuring in my latest work. I made the wave marks with a palette knife and have matured enough as an artist to say 'step away from the painting' it is finished. I remember seeing Callala Beach for the first time and gasping, it is so beautiful. This work is framed in a beautiful custom made Tasmanian Oak frame. I have signed it on the back, so my signature does not distract the viewer. I have included a photo of it hanging in my group show in 2021 next to "From Currarong', also available.
