Meelup Beach, Dunsborough is a popular holiday spot on the south coast of Western Australia. It's where my family often spent our Christmas holidays. The colour of the water is a beautiful turquoise and it is a very safe and popular spot for families with young children to swim.

The Basin swimming area at Rottnest Island, with the sheds and pine trees in the background. This painting uses primary colours to create a surreal atmosphere typical of Dali paintings. It introduces some of his sculptures and paintings in the form of a bent clock, an elephant on elongated legs and a butterfly, all typical of the objects to be found in Dali's own artworks.
