Outback Bob provided the photographic inspiration for this painting. The second I saw the photo I knew I had to paint it. As a child of the 60s, the VW Beetle has featured throughout my life. It's sad to see one in such a state of disrepair, but at the same time it's taken on a different kind of beauty.
