The genesis for this image came from a vision that came to mind while driving, the main idea being dark sculptures set against pink walls.

These include Commodus, Nero, Sulla, Caesar, Hadrian, Agrippina, Julia Domna, Julia Maesa, Tiberius, Lucius Verus, Marcus Aurelius, Augustus, Caracalla, Aurelian, Titu, Alexander Severus, Cato, Caligula, Diadumenian, Maximinus Thrax as well as some unknown figures.
The macabre, distorted triptych portraits are based on the paintings of Francis Bacon and contribute to the vintage 1960s aesthetic of this pink gallery.
