Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This has been one of the most labor intensive works I’ve ever produced. The idea behind this work came from a desire to produce a very large work removed from the desert landscapes and world of Ancient Rome. The inspiration came from photos of New York City, The Batman Arkham video games and the music of Type O Negative. I certainly wanted to create a moody, Gothic-type aesthetic heavy on atmosphere.
Canvas is custom-made and the stretcher is strong at 37mm thick.
Ready to hang with strong wire/d-rings on the back.
