Inspired by those quiet afternoons when the waves move slow and the world feels still for a moment. 🌊🌊🌊🌊

Having lived in Tasmania most of my life, I am drawn to the remarkable coastline to find inspiration for my paintings. I love everything about the ocean and the beach - The aquatic hues that translate so beautifully into a painting. The sounds of the crashing waves, yet the feeling of peace and quiet. The way the sun sets and rises over the horizon reflecting so beautifully onto the water and sand. The sunny days and the feeling of warm sand between my toes. The cold wintery afternoon strolls and cool breeze on my face.
I feel as though the ocean connects us all in such a considerable way. I hope when you see my paintings it’s sparks some special memories or feelings of your own. 🌊💗

My name is Jessie and I am an artist, living in beautiful Tasmania, Australia.

Growing up on the East Coast has given me a great love and insight into the ocean, focusing most of my practise on photo realistic paintings of Australia’s remarkable coastline.

I am a self taught artist and have been painting for about 4 years.
I love creating meaningful art to bring warmth and comfort to my clients space. I still find it crazy that my art is hanging in peoples homes!!

I feel as though we are all linked to the ocean in some way. I love that people can simply look at my art and feel instantly connected through memories and feelings, that in itself is pretty powerful.

I am so thankful that I am able to share my passion with you, through art.
