Palm cockatoos are majestic birds that grow up to 60 cm in length. In Australia they live in a small area on the Cape York Peninsular. I have set this bird in an imaginary tropical forest, surrounded by lush foliage and flowers. It is painted on a smooth masonite board which gives the finish the sharpness and detail I aim for.
It is ready to hang in a beautiful, blond timber frame, offset with a cream coloured slip.
