Artwork Description

On this picture perfect day by the Swan River near Blackwall Reach, I sat under a big tree and sketched this scene which formed the basis for this painting. The water was so calm and inviting and while there I noticed a man fishing quietly near the rushes. Using my artistic license, I thought, why not added a little companion to the scene, and it would make a lovely, feel good painting. There is a certain serenity about it, don't you think?

Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
