Bathers Beach Freo

Bathers Beach in Fremantle WA is a draw card for both locals and visitors alike. The unique WA light and turquoise hue of the water is so alluring, right in the heart of the plvibrant Freo hub. This painting was inspired by the view to the beach at the side of the Kidogo Arthouse, where the pathway leads you to the water. I loved all the angles, shapes and textures of this perspective and thought it would make for an interesting painting.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
