Beach Day at Gracetown

I can't remember the last time I visited Gracetown in south west WA but as soon as I was there, I was reminded of just how beautiful it is. This part of the WA coast remains proudly pristine. On this picture perfect day, a very warm day, there was a sparkle on the ocean and beach goers were enjoying the aqua blue water and the white sandy beach so typical of this coastline. I just had to try to capture it.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
