Artwork Description

This painting was inspired from a spectacular fog we had over the Brisbane River and we watched it descend on the river. I was captivated by it and wanted to capture it in time by painting it. I first did an oil painting of it which hangs on my wall. But have since been trying to replicate the feeling of the day of the fog in watercolour. After several failed attempts I am happy with this one. Despite the lack of sharp details, there is still a strong sense of mood and atmosphere.
