Good Morning

To be greeted by the delicate morning light through the window, a warm gentle breeze, the scent of the garden outside and a fresh vase of yellow flowers is a wonderful start to the day.
In this painting I prepared the paper with a watercolour ground which produced textural marks when the paint was applied.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
