While driving back from Redgate this morning I saw this tree standing proud in the paddock.The air was cold and crisp, the sun was low and the long shadows from the trees on the skyline beckoned me to paint it. I loved how the light illuminated all the gnarly bits of wood adorning this magnificent tree, which made it all the more beautiful.
