Old Pots

Although discarded, these old clay pots have a story of their own. Useful at one time, but now abandoned, yet their existence is still a reminder of just how needed they were. I love the strong contrasts, the earthy tones and light illuminating their edges.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
