On the Way to Castle Rock

There is a beautiful walk from Dunsborough to Meelup in the south west of WA and this is part of that track on the way to Castle Rock. The natural unspoiled terrain that meanders through bush scrub and rocks presents interesting subjects to paint. A couple were ahead enjoying the walk along the beach and I thought the track leading to the beach with the filtering light was a perfect painting subject.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
