Shortcut To Bathers Beach

This painting was inspired by a walk I took in Fremantle between the Round House and Kidogo Art House. As I walked along the pathway in the shade of trees in the morning light catching glimpses of the alluring water of Bathers Beach through beach scrub I thought how lucky I am to have this on my doorstep. The light, shapes and textures captured my interest enough to think, this has to be a painting!

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
