Artwork Description

Autumn morning light is my favourite, and especially in the beautiful southwest of WA. This was a walk I took the other day and I just wanted to capture the low morning light as it hit the green paddocks, creating a feeling of warmth despite it being a crisp morning. I love the unmanicured landscape of this area, raw and beautiful.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
