The Magic of Simple Things

This was inspired by a recent visit to Lennox Head. It was only days before the cyclone hit the northern NSW coast. It was such a peaceful setting, although the ocean was becoming tumultuous by the hour. There was a little family enjoying a walk along the beach and I couldn't help but think how precious such simple pleasures are, and just how things can change so dramatically, so quickly.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
