Take me back to Moreton! This painting was inspired by a 5 day long stay there in a little beach cottage just a few steps to the beach. I was fascinated by the pandanas, but particularly how they framed the view of the tranquil teal blue ocean, a constant lure to take a plunge which I succumbed to daily.
Occasionally a yacht would lazily sail pass silhouetted perfectly against a sun glistening ocean. Bliss!
