Winter Green in Margs

There is something luxuriously luminous about the new wintergreen grass of the south west and I wanted to capture it in this painting. The sunlight shining on the paddocks, casting shafts of light through the trees drew me to this simple scene, but so typical in this beautiful part of WA.

Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.

The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
