Artwork Description

Cowaramup, affectionately called 'Cowtown' by the locals is a quaint but busy sister to Margaret River. The winter light on this day in Rotary Park captured my interest as it illuminated the grass making it seem to glow. Long shadows from the trees kept drawing my eye to the historic little church that is a reminder of the group settlement in the south west in the early 20th century. The many statues of cows that adorn this town didn't get a look in this time. It was all about the light.
