Fortescue Falls is a lush oasis. Water flows over red rock whilst birds sing and dart through ferns. We drove across hundreds of kilometers of dry desert, finally arriving in Karijini. This painting is of my first glimpse of the turquoise waters & dramatic cliffs through branches. Fortescue Falls flooded my senses with colour, paradise found.
