Artwork Description

Bird 12 continues my exploration of simplified, nested forms—like a modern take on a babushka doll. A rich red bird frames a soft cream figure, which in turn contains a smaller green bird, each layered with clean lines and minimal detail. Set against a fresh aqua background, this piece feels playful and balanced. As with others in the series, it touches on connection, care, and identity across generations, all through a pared-back, mid-century-inspired lens.
